The full set of business and technical documentation will be available to Content Providers on application to YouView.ġ.4 YouView does not have any responsibility for allocating LCNs for channels broadcast using DTT. It has been developed with reference to the principles set out in the Ofcom Code of Practice on Electronic Programme Guides (“Ofcom EPG Code”) 1.ġ.3 The Policy also explains at a high level how content may be searched for and accessed via the YouView UI, but does not contain detailed descriptions of UI design, navigation parameters, product features, technical specifications, contractual terms or on boarding and engagement processes. The Policy sets out YouView’s approach to allocating positions and logical channel numbers (“LCNs”) to Content Providers in the YouView UI.
